Project ID 257GLO1045.4.2
Since its approval in 2016, the National Strategy for Comprehensive Sexuality Education of the Ministry of Education has not had the necessary consensus for implementation. The overall purpose is to support national advocacy efforts so that pre-university education guarantees adolescents and young people learning opportunities in sexual health, HIV, well-being, and gender equality. The implementation of the project will support by UNFPA, UNDP, and UNAIDS offices in the Dominican Republic.
