Project ID 257GLO1045.5.9

The 2022 - 2023 project seeks to deepen the activities more with focus on two counties. From a quick assessment of the schools in rural Montserrado and Bomi Counties, the knowledge of HIV/AIDS is so low. Therefore within the framework of ensuring that the HIV/AIDS prevalence rate is mitigated to some extent. In the schools health education is not emphasized. The project activities will therefore focus on the training of selected teachers in health science content with a bias on HIV/AIDS. This project will still target the strengthening of school health clubs, TLHIV, PTAs and a sizeable number of youths and school dropouts as well as adolescent early mothers.
