The project will focus on policy interventions by ensuring that the policy environment in Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda becomes more conducive for the use of Inclusive Education and Access to Information. In Kenya and Rwanda, this will be through activation of the accessible publishing ecosystem and advocating for inclusive policies. This will be achieved by setting up of a national Policy Board and Management Committee, creation and adoption of a necessary policy for the use of Assistive Technology to ensure Inclusive Education and Access to Information for persons with visual and hearing impairments in Kenya and Rwanda. In addition, procurement and production guidelines will be created.
