As a follow up of the International Campaign to Save the Monuments of Nubia (1960-1980), the 21st Session of the General Conference of UNESCO approved the Resolution (21C/Resolution 4/11) for the International Campaign for the Establishment of the the Nubia Museum in Aswan and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) and the Executive Committee for the Campaign. This project supports the organisation of the Committee meetings and the implementation of the recommendations of the Executive Committee for the institutional development and human capacity building of the Nubia Museum in Aswan to complement the ongoing project for NMEC (402EGY4001).
