This concerns activities and projects supported within the framework of the IPDC 2021 earmarked projects series, aiming at monitoring and reporting on SDG indicators 16.10.1 and 16.10.2. One of the major projects that is part of this series is aimed at training security forces (including particularly law enforcement agents) in related areas which are pillars for the protection and respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. It will notably contribute to the protection and promotion of freedom of expression, privacy and safety of journalists through the reinforcement of the knowledge and capacities of security forces on these issues.
