The Special Account supports the implementation of the revised UNESCO Strategy on Education for Health and Well-being, which covers the 2022-2029. The revised Strategy envisions a world where all learners thrive. The goal of the strategy is to contribute to improved health and education outcomes for all young people through support for national education sectors to adopt a comprehensive approach to school health and well-being. This in turn will contribute to achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those at the nexus of education, health and gender equality.
