Women are still under represented in scientific research and in high level scientific careers and Scientific Advisory Board's. This activity aims at encouraging the participation of women in science notably through the use of policy instruments that have an impact on gender equality in science and technology. This activity will facilitate outstanding women scientists and young talented researchers contributing actively to high-level debate and fora in the natural sciences and science policy organized by or with UNESCO.
