Project ID 503RAF1002

The project provides capacity building to support educators for the implementation of Target 4.7 of SDG 4. This requires educators to integrate Education for Sustainable Development into all areas of education. It focuses on southern Africa, which is one of the region's most at risk from climate change and the ongoing impacts of poverty. Beneficiaries are ten Southern African countries (4 Core Countries and 6 Networked Countries). Through the project, sustainability principles will be integrated into education and training environments, with emphasis on curriculum change in TEI from ECCE through primary to secondary and TVET College programmes.
