UNESCO is assembling the world's leading experts in digital technology and heritage for an unprecedented initiative: the world's cultural and natural heritage as well as its intangible cultural heritage accessible to everyone for the first time for exploration, safeguarding, preservation and reconstruction, through an online platform. This unique project that will enable the setting up of state-to-the-art technological structures demonstrates the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's (UNESCO's) continued commitment to promote and safeguard the world's cultural and natural heritage.
