This project aims to raise awareness of the global significance of Saudi Arabian documentary heritage and that of the larger Arab region among stakeholders as well as the public, including by creating the Kingdoms Institute Platform for the Promotion of Documentary Heritage in the Arab World. It also aims to build capacity for the identification, preservation, and accessibility of documentary heritage among memory institutions in AlUla and Saudi Arabia through the creation of a National MoW Committee, and possibly a National Register, and enhancing scholarly research and academic reflection on documentary heritage for intercultural dialogue.
