Project ID 505RAF4001
Withing UNESCO's Priority Africa, this project aims at (i) Enhancing the representativity of Africa on the World Heritage List, (ii) Improving the capacity of African experts on innovative technologies, and (iii) Supporting good conservation for economic development. It foresees training of local experts, supporting to nominations , promoting of entrepreneurship and to youth-driven initiatives using digital technologies for heritage conservation. Implementation will be ensured in cooperation with governments, communities and civil society, African experts, Advisory bodies, Category II Centres (AWHF, ARC-WH) and centres of expertise (EPA, CHDA).
