In view of supporting Member States to implement the first phase of ESD for 2030, in line with the Roadmap for implementation that UNESCO developed, the project aims at: 1) providing technical support to Member States to design and implement country initiatives in full consideration of the national context; 2) convening a global platform linking partners in education and beyond for knowledge sharing and collaboration as well as monitoring progress and assessing remaining gaps; 3) raising visibility of ESD with Member States and in global high-level discussions on sustainability issues, and communicating ESD and SDGs to education stakeholders in particular educators.
