The project contributes to the strengthening of safety of journalists in the Philippines through capacity building for the journalists. The project will follow a gender sensitive approach including a focus on women journalists. In the long term, it aims to foster an enabling environment for a sustainable, free, independent, and professional media in the country. The main output of the project are: • Capacity building workshops to strengthen journalists' digital and physical safety skills, • Capacity building workshops to strengthen journalists' skills on professional standards and ethical journalism;
