Under the overall authority of the Director of Culture and Emergencies and direct supervision of the Chief of Unit for Movable Heritage and Museums, the incumbent shall : Support ratification and implementation of 1970 Convention, notably by sharing good practices through travel and/or meetings ; Follow-up on strategic initiatives in Africa implemented by CEM/MHM ; Act as focal point for English-speaking African countries by drafting various working documents and following activities in the region, in liaison with UNESCO Field Offices; Contribute to the development of partnerships and assist in any other task necessary for the smooth functioning of the Unit's work.
