This project seeks to strengthen knowledge and capacity by the Foundation to preserve, conserve or restore, including by digitization, any of its collections that may be at risk of degradation and destruction. In addition, through this intervention, UNESCO will work with the Foundation for heightened awareness among memory institutions as well as memory support stakeholders about the significance of documentary heritage and the need to preserve it not only in Cote d'Ivoire but also in other African countries.
