The project is designed to respond to some of the challenges with regard to girls' primary education. It will also investigate into the underlying factors responsible for a repressing transition rate of girls from primary to lower secondary education through empirical research. The project aims at supporting the efforts of Government of Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan in increasing access, retention and improving the quality of girls' education through capacity building and targeted interventions at both institutional and community levels.
