The strategic framework of this project was developed based on the vision of "Better Life for Girls". It proposes five activities to be implemented in close partnership with Philippines' DepEd. These are: Establishment of a Girls Education Center; Development of ALS Curriculum in Parallel and Equivalent to K-12 National Curriculum; Capacity Building for ALS Teachers; Capability Building of Out-of-School Girls on Basic Education and Life Skills; and Project Management. This project aims to increase the number of out-of-school girl-passers in Tacloban City and its vicinity of A&E Test that will enable them to have jobs or pursue further educational opportunities to fight poverty and injustice.
