The proposed action aims to provide approximately 17,000 Out of School Children (OOSC) in Salah Al Din and Baghdad governorates with learning opportunities by improving learning environment to be safer and more conducive and enhancing quality of education with capacity development of teaching staff. Together with the second phase of Educate A Child Initiative (EACI)'s project "Improving Access to Quality and Inclusive Education with Gender Equality for Out of School Children in Iraq", it will aim to reach the total number of 150,000 OOSC in six governorates of Iraq, including the 17,000 OOSC in Salah Al Din and Baghdad which are the target governorates of this particular proposal.
