The project aims to raise awareness about the population of key countries of origin of migrants about the risks linked to migration. The project will cover cover Senegal, Guinea-Conakry, Cote d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Nigeria, Niger, Ghana and Mali. Young people in particular will be targeted, as they are the age group most represented among African migrants. To achieve this goal, UNESCO will work to improve quality of information and access to information by training journalists and opinion leaders and through the development of training dedicated to the production of editorial content.
