Noting the achievements and impacts of the previous phases of the project and taking into consideration the World Heritage Committee decisions and Lumbini International Scientific Committee recommendations, this fourth phase focuses on an overall strategy to protect and manage the Lumbini World Heritage property and to protect the Greater Lumbini Area and its wider setting, including but not limited to Tilaurakot and Ramagrama, Tentative List Sites for World Heritage Properties of Nepal, contributing to the achievement of SDG 11.4 on the protection of the world's cultural heritage and SDG 8.9 on the promotion of sustainable tourism that create jobs and promotes local culture and products.
