The STEM programme aims to improve the pre-service teacher education system in Myanmar through policy and institutional capacity development of Myanmar's Education Colleges. The expected outcomes and activities are designed to improve the quality of education and training in the 25 Education Colleges (ECs) through the development of a new teacher education curriculum, strengthening the planning, management and human resource capacities of ECs, mainstreaming inclusion, equity, and education for peace and sustainable development and creating strong networks to accumulate and share knowledge and experiences between institutions.
