This is a Secondment from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) of Japan/Development and enhancement of International Platform for Reducing Earthquake Disasters (IPRED), which is financially supported by MLIT, intends to identify gaps and priorities through the sharing of scientific knowledge and experience in the field of seismology and earthquake engineering worldwide, and to support the development of awareness, for the purpose of ensuring the better preparedness against earthquakes.
