Project ID 567AFG4000
Based on the last some two-decade financial assistance of the Japanese government within the Japanese Funds-in Trust project for the safeguarding of Bamiyan (2003-ongoing), this project will aim at ensuring sustainable development in Bamiyan through the establishment of a rigid foundation for the proper protection and use of the World Heritage site and for the removal of Bamiyan from the List of World Heritage in Danger. In order to reach this goal, the project will address the main benchmarks which kept the property to retain in the Danger List.
