Following the new influx of Afghans to Iran, the number of children in need of education has increased considerably and the already overburden education system in the country cannot accommodate all the new commers. Therefore, non- formal education became an alternative for many children and this project aims to enhance the pedagogical and psychosocial support skills of the Afghan teachers to not only ensure the quality of education these children receive and enhance the protection space for the children and the Afghan community but will also develop female teachers' skills and livelihood opportunities while they are in Iran or upon return in Afghanistan.
