Project ID 570GLO1025
The latest figure suggests that currently only 3% of eligible refugees have access to higher education, the lack of recognition of prior learning and qualifications has been identified as one of the chief obstacles' refugees face when applying for access to higher education or seeking a suitable job. The UNESCO Qualifications passport project leads a multilateral approach to support national/local authorities, to facilitate the qualifications recognition of the refugees and vulnerable migrants without sufficient documentations through an interview-based methodology. It would serve as an apparatus for the implementation of the Global Convention and Revised Regional Recognition Conventions.
