Project ID 570GLO4021

The main objective of the project is to contribute to the reinforcement of UNESCO's vision and action as regards the role of culture in sustainable urban development towards the safeguarding of urban heritage, in all its forms (built heritage, urban spaces, natural heritage, intangible heritage) and nurturing creative industries and expressions in cities. The implementation of this vision relies on the Organization's long-standing experience in this field and on its wide normative framework (especially the 1972, 2003 and 2005 Conventions and the 2011 Recommendation on the Historic Urban Landscape).
