UNESCO's goal within the context of the proposed project is to identify and create an online registry of Exceptional Persons with Disabilities in the World who are making an impact in the political, economic, academic and social spheres in their respective communities. This will demonstrate how empowered persons with disabilities contribute to the fulfillment of the human potential by overcoming multiple social, cultural and educational barriers. The project will also contribute to the informed decision- making and development of other initiatives.
