Project ID 570INS4004

Addressing the lack of capacity building opportunities for the local communities at WH sites, UNESCO Jakarta will provide assistance to young budding entrepreneurs living in and around heritage sites in continuation of project initiated since 2017. Youth engaged in the practice of traditional arts and culture, or creative industries including tourism, is targeted in priority as the local culture-based business contributes to enhancing the value of World Heritage sites, and confers sense of pride to youth. In this Phase IV, project will focus on outreach to national level stakeholders and transfer of project methodology to local governments as exist strategy.
