Project ID 570INS4006

Addressing the lack of capacity building opportunities for the local communities at WH sites, UNESCO Jakarta will provide assistance to young entrepreneurs living in and around heritage sites in continuation of project initiated since 2017. Youth engaged in the practice of traditional arts and culture, or creative industries including tourism, are priority targets as the local culture-based business contributes to enhancing the value of World Heritage sites. Phase VI will give a dedicated focus on the participation and business capacity-building of Persons with Disabilities (PwD) in eight districts of three provinces: Yogyakarta, Central Java, and Bali.
