UNESCO Mexico, at the request of Instituto Natura México, will provide technical assistance to design and implement the monitoring model for the Educational policy for achieving basic literacy skills. The first phase id from December 2021 to June 2022, with a focus on language skills in primary schools from 2 states in Mexico. During this period, the policy will benefit more than 9,000 teachers and 14,000 students from 1st to 3rd grade of 80 primary schools, and 150 pedagogical coaches. This educational policy and the collaboration between UNESCO and Instituto Natura, is expected to last until 2028, increasing every year the number of participating states, schools, teachers and students.
