The project proposes 3 activities that are consistent with the current strategy for the implementation of the 1972 Convention in Africa to attain the objectives of the Action Plan for World Heritage in the Africa Region 2012-2017: - Elaboration of the Heritage Passport on WH properties for increased public awareness in Congo, Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon. - Support to the Interpretation Centre of the Ruins of Loropéni WH Site (Burkina Faso), incl. academic cooperation, visitors information and on strengthening community involvement. - Emergency Rescue Plan to restore tangible and intangible cultural values of Sukur Cultural Landscape (Nigeria)
