The project aims to contribute to a more climate-resilient South East Europe region, through developing capacities of managing authorities and stakeholders in UNESCO designated sites (with special focus on WH and BRs) in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia, in line with relevant guidelines and policies on climate change and disaster risks reduction. The project will also improve the understanding of the impacts of climatic change and natural hazards on natural and cultural sites, and of the importance to ensure effective and appropriate heritage management and site governance to enhance climate and disaster resilience.
