Project ID 650RER2001.31

The UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe (and through IHP) will provide support to decision- and policy-makers for a sound management of shared water resources and related ecosystem services in river basins with a particular focus on transboundary ones. Transboundary cooperation provides in fact a tool for the co-management of shared ecosystems, of which Transboundary Biosphere Reserves (TBRs) can be key catalysts as described in more details in Expected Result SC1 Biosphere Reserves (BRs) as Model Sites for Outreach.
