The Myanmar Ministry of Education has embarked on the development of its National Education Strategic Plan 2021-2030 which will guide the education reform agenda for the next decade. The development of a new strategic plan presents the opportunity to strengthen SDG commitments in national planning, setting Myanmar on course to make greater progress towards the implementation of SDG4 by 2030. Through the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) Education Sector Plan Development Grant (ESPDG), UNESCO Myanmar will support the development and implementation of the plan in three key areas: 1) Education Sector Analysis 2) Education Sector Plan Development 3) Annual Joint Sector Reviews
