South Sudan's current Education Sector Plan (ESP) 2018-2022 is due to expire this year (2022). T ESP. The project aims to support Ministry of General Education and Instruction (MOGEI) in preparing the new ESP (2023-2027) based on realities of the current situation in the country and lessons learned from the implementation of the current ESP. Education Sector Analysis (ESA) will be carried out to highlight lessons learned during the implementation of the previous ESP. UNESCO Juba office jointly with IIEP will conduct the ESA and prepare ESP in close collaboration with MOGEI and education stakeholders (UN agencies, Donors and CBOs) under the GPE SCG funding.
