Under the overall authority of the Assistant Director-General (ADG/CLT), the general supervison of the Director of World Heritage (CLT/WHC) and the direct supervision of Chief of the Asia and the Pacific Unit (CLT/WHC/APA), the incumbent shall assist in the implementation of the 1972 World Heritage Convention and assist in the monitoring of state of conservation of World Heritage properties in a cluster of 8 States Parties in South-East Asia and Japan.
