L'objectif de projet est d'aménager un cadre qui facilite l'accroissement du niveau de participation et de responsabilisation des communautés à la base aux différents processus de transformation sociale qui s'opèrent dans le pays. Il va à cet effet accompagner la création de 40 radios communautaires pour améliorer l'accès des populations vulnérables à l'information, leur donner une tribune d'expression et de dialogue communautaire sur les solutions locales aux questions de développement durable, de prévention et de gestion des catastrophes et des crises. Le projet vise pareillement l'adoption de politiques normes qui assurent la durabilité des radios communautaires au Cameroun.
