UNESCO is supporting Senegal in an IBSA Funded project, whose main objective is to restore degraded lands in the important World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve of Delta Saloum which will contribute to the achievement of SDG 15 (Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
