Mexico is a country that faces challenges in violence against women and girls, in response, the State Government has developed a programme for gender education. Unesco Mexico will support this project by contributing with ther revision and integration of gender equality in the curricula content for basic and middle education and monitoring of the implementation in the schools of the state of Mexico. We will raise awareness of the need for other states to engage in gender education programes.
