This activity will support the effective implementation of the 1972 Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage in Nigeria, Benin Republic, Cote D'Ivoire, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Togo by building the capacity of the focal persons and institutions of the Convention to develop and implement world heritage site management and conservation plans, as well as support the listed Member States to implement the decisions of the World Heritage Committee. Furthermore, this activity will accompany Member States in the application for and implementation of activities funded by the International Assistance programme.
