The war in Ukraine has caused major disruptions of educational processes, with a substantial number of teachers and learners currently unable to go to school and with no access to digital devices to engage in teaching and learning processes through distance modalities. Through UNESCO's Global Education Coalition, Google has partnered with the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Ukraine and UNESCO to support the continuity of education with the contribution of 50,000 Chromebook devices for teachers and software licensing. UNESCO will deliver Google's contributed devices to Ukraine for further distribution to teachers under the Ministry's control.
