Under the overall authority of the Director of the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau for Education (UNESCO Bangkok) and under the direct supervision of the Chief of EISD, the Programme Specialist in Education contributes to the planning and implementation of EISD programme activities with a special focus on activities in higher education and support the Director of UNESCO Bangkok in implementing the Regional Bureau's Education Support Strategy and developing partnerships with education institutions and private sector.
